The Athletic’s Manchester United correspondent Laurie Whitwell has cast doubt on the idea that Mason Mount will be offloaded in the upcoming summer transfer window. “I don’t know – I’ve never really gotten the sense that Mount is a player United would consider selling this summer,” Whitwell said. “Mainly because… well, he’s shown the kind of ability he has in the past.” 
In a separate report, The Athletic journalist Andy Mitten stated that there is no indication Manchester United might consider parting ways with Amad. “I haven’t heard any signs that United are thinking about selling Amad,” Mitten noted. 
Additionally, The Sun’s Samuel Luckhurst reported that Manchester United are primarily targeting players aged between 22 and 26, a strategy based on the success of last summer’s transfer window.
