The Blaugrana secured the title with a decisive victory over Real Madrid in the Clásico at the Spotify Camp Nou, capping off a stellar season. The club president headed straight to his iconic nightlife spot to join the festivities alongside Hansi Flick’s victorious squad.
Laporta made a grand entrance at the famous Barcelona nightclub. As the first notes of the FC Barcelona anthem rang out, he sang along at the top of his lungs, fist raised high, surrounded by fans draped in Blaugrana jerseys. He popped open a bottle of champagne and lit his trademark victory cigar—a ritual now synonymous with title nights. The crowd of Culés in the venue followed every chant he led. Laporta also led the crowd in the familiar “Boti, boti, boti, madridista qui no boti” and the classic “Campions!” The party had the unmistakable atmosphere of Laporta-era celebrations: toasts, embraces, chanted songs, and that perfect blend of uninhibited joy and solemn pride.
Surrounded by his closest confidants, including board member Xavi Puig, who oversees the women’s football team, Laporta celebrated the league title like any other passionate fan. “This is a spectacle. Who would have said this two years ago? We did. We knew it. We were convinced we would do it,” he told SPORT as he left Luz de Gas just after 3 a.m., visibly delighted. He greeted every Culé who approached him and highlighted the magnitude of the achievement.
On Monday, the title celebrations continue with a parade through Barcelona’s streets starting at 5 p.m., beginning and ending at the Spotify Camp Nou. Although the players and Hansi Flick will be the main attractions, Joan Laporta is sure to be right alongside the squad.
